Starting School
Within our Local Authority (Oxfordshire County Council – OCC), provision is made for children to start school in the school year following their fourth birthday. In line with OCC policy all new entrants attend school on a full-time basis following their induction period. Our maximum admission number for each academic year is 30 children.

Nursery
We opened our Nursery Class in September 2018 and now have 78 part time places for children age 2½ and over. In line with OCC’s Nursery Admission Policy we offer universal Early Education Funding places to children the term after their third birthday and at the start of a school term, ie: September, January and April.
If you are thinking of applying for a place in our Nursery please do look at the information on the Nursery Class tab and come and visit our lovely setting!
We continue to develop close links with all local nurseries and preschools to ensure continuity of education for all children entering our Foundation Class. All children and parents are given plenty of opportunities to meet the Foundation Stage team before they start school and we hold a variety of induction events to give your child the very best start.
Mid Year Transfers
If you would like your child to transfer from another school, please contact the Admissions Team at OCC to check whether a space is available for your child. You are welcome to make an appointment to view the school prior to your application by contacting the school office.
Before you apply please read the OCC admissions process so that you fully understand the admission process, rules and criteria. If you have any queries regarding admissions please do contact the school office who will be pleased to help you.
Appealing for a school place
If you have applied and been refused a school place, you have the right to appeal the decision. Please visit Oxfordshire County Council’s website for more information.
