We start school at 8.40 am, however the school gates are open from 8:30am and the children are able to go straight to their classrooms.. Registration is at 8:45am.
The whole school goes out to play at 10.15 for a short break. KS1 children are given fruit or vegetables as a snack from the Government fruit and vegetable scheme. KS2 children are able to bring a healthy snack to eat at break. All children should have a clear water bottle (sports’ style cap) in school at all times and are actively encouraged to drink water, especially after playtime and sports.
After play the children go back into their classrooms until lunch at 12 noon. Our school lunches are cooked on site in our kitchen from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
The afternoon session starts at 1pm and children then go home at 3.15pm. Parents should wait for their children to come out of the classrooms into the main playground.
We have a variety of extra curricular clubs including Breakfast Club which starts at 7.45am. All afternoon clubs finish at 4.20pm and children should be collected from reception. Please see the Clubs and Breakfast Club pages for more details.
